Dots Per Inch refers to the number of individual dots that a printer can produce in a single inch area on
the paper. Therefore, a printer with a bigger dpi is capable to produce prints with higher graphical detail
and quality.

The range of DPI supported by a printer depends of the printer head technology.
For photo quality output, there are two types of printers available in the market:

Inkjet and Dye-Sublimation
